Product Description Broadband fixed wireless, known as multi-point multi-channel distribution service (MMDS), provides "always on" high-speed Internet access, cable television, and fixed telephone service. MMDS is similar to broadcast television except that you can send and receive data from an antenna mounted on a fixed location.
