“Workload is [now] centralized,” says Carter. “We monitor the data we get every week. Our Customer Service department answers about 25 percent of our calls. That means prior to having this phone system [those] calls would have had to wait longer or maybe hung up and not gotten to us. So our access, in general, is probably 25 percent better. Now we’re answering 90-95 percent of our calls in less than 60 seconds. Without the data, we would not have been able to achieve it.”

Says Paul Hankins, “Not only are we able to serve our patients’ needs better, but we’re able to share resources. It’s really opened up the ability to take advantage of technology to share resources among remote locations. [It] has further broken down many of the walls that kept us from the collaboration that has now really been beneficial."
