VTI Technologies worked with Enfo, a Novell Platinum Partner, to upgrade its data center infrastructure and standardize its Linux environment on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server from Novell. With the new solution, VTI Technologies IT administrators can now manage support through one contact and only need expertise around one distribution of Linux. The new solution also allows VTI Technologies to cluster and decentralize their services between the two data centers, enabling IT administrators to more easily perform system updates without interruption to factory production – a critical requirement for any manufacturer.
