Given current prices for color laser printers, one of the few reasons to consider a business ink jet in the $500 to $1,000 range is if you need to print on paper larger than legal size—for wide spreadsheets, for example. The HP Business Inkjet 2800dtn ($999 direct) meets that criterion and then some. Its trays hold paper sizes of up to 13 by 19 inches, and the maximum paper size for banner printing is 13 by 50 inches.
