The new McAfee VirusScan 2006 protects your computer from viruses and PUPs ("Potentially Unwanted Programs" McAfee`s term for spyware) with minimal fuss. It downloads virus signatures daily and scans files on access. Independent labs certify it can detect and remove viruses in our testing, it also effectively removed PUPs it found on our system and prevented the installation of new ones.
