Trend Micro`s PC-Cillin Internet Security suite with built-in spyware protection fared poorly against spyware in our most recent evaluation of full-blown security suites. Fortunately, in May 2005 Trend Micro acquired InterMute and quickly rereleased its well-known SpySubtract utility as Trend Micro Anti-Spyware 3.0 (TMAS).
