For some people, hard-drive dependability ranks relatively low on the hierarchical list of important things I should care about. They may make the occasional backup to CD, but these types are generally okay with letting the chips fall where they may. On the other end of the spectrum, we have the earnest folks gushing about recently hatched nested arrays as if these pet projects were baby chicks.
