Skype 2.0

Summary:
We`re still not sure why eBay acquired Skype, the popular PC-based voice-over-IP telephony service. And we weren`t sure what it meant for the continued development of the Skype software. But the recent release of the Skype 2.0 beta shows that the app continues to march forward. And this is going to be critical for its survival as Web giants Yahoo!, AOL, Google, and Microsoft gun to move their instant messaging clients into Skype`s market.
